How to Add SSL Certificate (Let's Ecrypt) in cPanel

Once Let's Encrypt SSL is enabled on your account, you can install SSL certificates through cPanel on any of your Addon Domains and Subdomains. The certificates auto renew unless you choose to cancel them through the cPanel interface.

  • To install a new Let's Encrypt certificate, log into cPanel (http://yourdomain.com/cpanel
  • Go to the Let's Encrypt SSL tool in the Security tab.
  • Click Issue+ beside the domain / subsomain you want to issue the certificate for
  • Select domain paths to include and click "Issue".

In few moments, you will have a working SSL certificate for your domain name and can now configure your application to work via https://.

Please note that the Let’s Encrypt interface is currently deployed for shared hosting accounts. Customers with cloud accounts and dedicated servers can post a support ticket if they wish to get a certificate.
