The Challenge

Composite Deck Direct sought to enhance its' platform to better serve its customers and simplify the process of purchasing decking materials. They required a solution that would not only improve the user experience, but also handle the complex calculations and logistics involved in selling their products. Our team was approached to provide these solutions, including theme customization, advanced product calculations, and advanced shipping management.

The Solution

e-dimensionz Inc began by customizing the design using the 'Enterprise' Shopify theme as a base, chosen by the client, for a professional and user-friendly interface. To meet the specific needs of Composite Deck Direct's customers, we implemented and reworked advanced calculation features that allowed users to easily determine the necessary accessories based on square feet and linear feet. This feature simplified the shopping process and guaranteed customers had the correct materials for their projects.

Additionally, we developed a custom shipping app to manage the complex shipping rules associated with different carriers. This app streamlined the shipping process so that customers received accurate shipping options based on their location and order details.

To further enhance the user experience, we incorporated geo-based rules with a custom pop-up in the header. This allowed users to select their location, which worked seamlessly with the Advanced Store Localization app, providing location-specific content and shipping information.

We continue to provide Composite Deck Direct with ongoing support. As the company's needs evolve, our team is actively involved in developing additional features and optimizing existing ones to ensure that Composite Deck Direct remains at the forefront of their industry.
