Stones Direct is a premier supplier of natural stone products, offering a wide range of high-quality materials for landscaping, construction, and decorative purposes. The Challenge

Stones Direct needed a comprehensive solution to manage its complex logistics and diverse product offerings. They required solutions that could handle unique shipping requirements, product customization, and efficient inventory management. Our team was excited to deliver a tailored solution that addressed these specific needs.

The Solution

To meet Stones Direct's requirements, we customized the 'Enterprise' Shopify theme, and designed it based on the client's specifications. This build included a custom megamenu that pulls thumbnails based on the color and product type, making navigation easier and more intuitive for users. A key feature we implemented was a 'shipping questions' form in the cart, allowing users to specify their shipping needs before receiving a quote, a sophisticated feature for a Shopify-based site.

We also integrated the API for Priority1 to streamline shipping processes, enabling distance-based shipping and discounts based on weight. With customized TL/LTL thresholds, we allowed shipping options were tailored to the size and weight of the orders.

Our team also developed a custom product importer that allowed Stones Direct to upload an XLS file, automatically importing products with details such as availability, cost, and weight. This feature significantly reduced the time and effort required for inventory management.
